Monica Green, Ed.D., was appointed the fourth president of 萝莉研究所 in April of 2020. Green has over two decades of experience within the California community college system, six years as counseling faculty and many years as an administrator. College and career readiness is of particular interest to Green, so over the years she has led many collaborative projects related to these areas. She led the development of 萝莉研究所鈥檚 award-winning Summer Advantage program in collaboration with the local unified school district. Summer Advantage is a unique first year experience for graduating high school seniors that offers academic and student support services to prepare students for college success. These college reform efforts completely redesign the community college to increase college completion and reduce the time to completion.
Green believes in paying it forward and is active in local, regional, and statewide efforts. She served on the board and as president of Soroptimist International of Corona where she advocates for the educational advancement of women and girls locally and internationally. Green also serves on the Board of Directors of the Corona Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Greater Eastvale Rotary Club. She is a first-generation college student who understands the hope, influence, and life-changing capacity afforded by higher education. Green strongly believes in maintaining high principles of integrity, honesty, and respect, while fostering positive and effective teamwork to promote student success.
