Communication Studies

Communication studies is an academic discipline that deals with processes of human communication. The discipline includes verbal and written communication, and encompasses a range of topics, from face-to-face conversation to mass media outlets such as television broadcasting.

Our program offers a communication studies for transfer (ADT) degree, and many COMM courses are included in the Communication, Media, and Languages associate of arts degree (AA).

ASNC president Makenna Ashcraft is a Communication major who will be transferring to UC Riverside in the winter. She has been very active on campus. Congratulations Makenna!
