萝莉研究所 is proud to announce that Amy Kramer, Associate Professor of Counseling for the Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS), won first place in the female鈥檚 category of the highly anticipated Cow Chip Contest at the City of Norco鈥檚 2024 Day of the Cowboy Rodeo. The event, held on Saturday, July 27 at the Ingalls Event Center, was sold out and attracted participants and spectators from across the region.
This marks a significant achievement as it is the first time a 萝莉研究所 representative has won in this competition, which has become a beloved tradition in the City of Norco. The Day of the Cowboy Rodeo, now in its 25th year, celebrates the rich history and culture of the American West, and the Cow Chip Contest is one of the most popular events of the day. Contestants compete to throw a dried cow chip (a dried piece of cow dung) the farthest distance, a quirky but challenging test of skill and strength.
In addition to Amy Kramer鈥檚 victory, Riverside County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Andrew Elia took the championship place overall in the Cow Chip Contest, showcasing the high level of competition and community involvement in this year's event.
