This summer, a select group of eleven students from the college鈥檚 Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA) program embarked on an inspiring 5-day/4-night tour across Northern California. Accompanied by faculty members Patricia Gill and Brittnee Quintanar, the students explored prestigious universities and engaged with industry professionals, alumni, and innovators鈥攈elping them make informed decisions about their future academic and career pathways.

San Jose State University
- Campus tour and engineering lab visit, hosted by Danitza Hernandez.
- A special meet-and-greet with faculty and entrepreneur Khalil Estell, who shared insights on his startup and potential internship opportunities.

- Campus tour and a deep dive into the MESA Program with Jennifer Wood.
- Makerspace tour led by Nick, showcasing hands-on learning opportunities.
University of California, Berkeley
- CITRIS Tech Museum tour and Innovation Hub presentation by Jill Finlayson.
- Makerspace tour with Dan Chapman and a campus tour led by Norco Alumni Tiffany Ho.
- A surprise encounter with Norco alumnus and UC Berkeley Public Health major, Klutvert Tabot.
University of California, Davis
- A guided campus tour by Thomas, featuring the impressive Engineering Design Center with Jeffry Ortiz.
- Meet-and-greet with Wilson from the Aggie Propulsion and Rocketry team.

Beyond the university visits, students also experienced hands-on learning through visits to the Intel Museum, Berkeley Lab Advanced Light Source tour, and networking opportunities with Berkeley Lab Internship staff. They explored iconic California landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge, Santa Cruz Pier, and Fisherman鈥檚 Wharf, making this a holistic experience of both academia and culture.
