Araceli Covarrubias is a Spanish professor. She earned an associate of art degree from Santa Ana College, a baccalaureate and master鈥檚 degree in Spanish from California State University, Long Beach. Prior to teaching Spanish, Covarrubias taught ESL for Santa Ana College鈥檚 non-credit adult program. She enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her husband and three children.

Araceli鈥檚 nominator writes about the amazing work she does in her leadership roles with the Faculty Association and as co-chair of the Art, Humanities, and World Languages department.
